The Legend of beginning of spring

A long time ago, a year before beginning of spring, when people were ready to warmly welcome beginning of spring, unexpectedly, the plague spread everywhere, making everyone infected with an indescribable disease. This disease is very strange. Looks like an alcoholic. Everyone is top-heavy and doesn't even have the strength to raise their hands. It is equivalent to the current influenza A H 1N 1.

The day before beginning of spring, a well-dressed man came to a village. He was very surprised to see that the village was so quiet that he couldn't hear the crowing of chickens and dogs, and no one was walking around. He came to a house near the village and knocked on the door. The Taoist priest called several times, but no one answered. Later, I saw a middle-aged man and repeatedly asked what was going on. The middle-aged man raised his eyelids, closed his eyes and said intermittently in a weak voice, "Everyone in the village has my disease."

Taoist priests ran into several houses in a row, and the situation was the same. Road flyover also puzzling. So he came to an old tree in the east of the village, sat facing south, stirred up a palm, closed his eyes and sat quietly, muttering something. It turned out that he prayed to Guanyin Bodhisattva for the treatment of the plague in the South China Sea. About three hours later, the Taoist priest gave a long hiss and suddenly stood up and ran back to the yard. He picked up a bag of stored radishes and ran quickly to the village. At this time, it was early the next morning. The Taoist priest found a big cock with a reed flower from a village, tore off a few chicken feathers and tied it to the ground.

The Taoist priest closed his eyes and prayed, and the scene of dialogue with Guanyin Bodhisattva appeared in his mind: Guanyin Bodhisattva told him that the plague would be solved automatically when the atmosphere was clear and the villagers ate a few radishes. About a pack of cigarettes later, the chicken feathers tied to the ground suddenly moved, and the Taoist was extremely surprised. He shouted, "The earth is ventilated, the earth is ventilated." Rush to every household in the village and let people eat radishes. As a result, it really works. After eating radish, people are all better.

People knelt down to the Taoist priest and thanked him for saving his life. The Taoist said, "Please get up. Don't thank me. You should thank Guanyin Bodhisattva. But now everyone should save others. There are many radishes in my yard. Let's take them to the neighboring village to save people! " Hearing this, the villagers rushed to Shiliba Village with radishes.

After the plague was solved, people lived a quiet and happy life again. However, people will never forget the Taoist priest, not to mention the radish that saved them from suffering. Since then, the villagers will eat some radishes at the beginning of spring to pray for peace. The custom of "biting spring" has been formed and continues to this day.

There is also a legend: "if you believe, you will have it." In ancient times, girls who got married in spring could not go back to their parents' homes. According to legend, the beginning of spring is a busy day for farmers, and a year's work will start today. At the beginning of spring, farmers made a big cow out of paper and took it to the government with three whips, which meant that every family's cow was working. After the ceremony, every family took the cow to the field. The girl who got married on this day can't go back to her family. First of all, the girl's parents have no leisure to wait on her. Second, parents are afraid that girls will go home to borrow cattle, delay farming, and the government will find trouble if they don't pay taxes. There is an old saying-I went to my mother's house in spring and stepped on my poor brother-in-law. Now it is all mechanized production, and there is no need for cattle to come forward. It would be ridiculous to go back to spring without leaving the custom of one's mother's family.

There is an old legend that when spring comes, county officials will dig a hole in the land with local celebrities, and then put light materials such as feathers and chicken feathers into the hole. At a certain time, the feathers and chicken feathers in the pit will float up from the pit. This time is the beginning of spring, and people will set off firecrackers to celebrate, hoping for a good weather and a good harvest in the coming year.

Beginning of spring's ancient book Qunfangpu explained to beginning of spring: "The foundation is also the foundation. Spring began and was established. " During the early spring, the temperature, sunshine and rainfall began to rise and increase. But all this is just a prelude to the arrival of spring in most parts of the country.

After beginning of spring, the temperature rose, and most parts of the country began a busy spring ploughing season. Beginning of spring solar terms began, westerly jet, the southern branch of East Asia, began to weaken, and the winter climate was coming to an end. However, the intensity and location of the northern branch of westerly jet remain basically the same, the Mongolian cold high and Aleutian low are still relatively strong, and gale cooling is still the prevailing main weather. However, during the intermission under the influence of strong cold air, the frequency of southerly winds increases, accompanied by an obvious warming process.

Beginning of spring is a time point or period. China tradition divides beginning of spring's Tenth Five-Year Plan into three periods: "The east wind thaws, insects begin to tremble, and fish lose ice", which means that the east wind warms up and the earth begins to thaw. Five days after beginning of spring, hibernating insects slowly woke up in the cave. Five days later, the ice in the river began to melt and the fish began to swim on the water. At this time, there are still broken borneol on the water, floating on the water like fish.
