When is the hot summer?

Summer and summer days begin from the solstice of summer. According to the arrangement of dry day and branch day, the third Geng Day is the first day. The fourth Geng Day is Fu Zhong Fu, and the first Geng Day in beginning of autumn is the first day of Fu Zhong Fu, which lasts for ten days.

Around July 7 every year, it is one of the 24 solar terms. The "three volts" often refers to the first (head), middle and last volts, and the summer solstice is the first volt of three Geng, that is, the third Geng day from summer to the future is the first volt, the fourth Geng day is the middle volt, and the first Geng day after beginning of autumn is the last volt.

Summer, also known as "dog days", is the expression of the hottest period in our old calendar. Summer heat begins in summer and ends on the third watch.
