Britain is located between 50 and 58 degrees north latitude, surrounded by the sea and influenced by the ocean, forming a typical temperate maritime climate. It is warm in winter and cool in summer, and the seasonal distribution of precipitation is relatively uniform.

In Britain, the temperature is relatively high in the south and relatively low in the north because of latitude. There are roughly north-south mountains in central England. Due to the influence of topography, there is more precipitation, rainy weather and insufficient illumination in western England. The eastern part of England is located on the leeward slope of warm and humid airflow, with relatively little precipitation and sufficient sunshine.
