What's the air pressure in the car tank? What if the fuel tank pressure is high?

Many car owners don't know the air pressure in the car fuel tank. In fact, it may be caused by the following three reasons:

1. In general, it may be that the regulating valve of the automobile fuel tank cover is blocked and the ventilation of the carbon tank is blocked, which will lead to air pressure in the fuel tank. The pressure difference in the fuel tank makes it difficult to open the fuel tank cover. We can use the vacuum pressure pump to check whether the pressure and vacuum control in the tank cover are normal. If it is out of the normal range, you need to replace the fuel tank cover.

2. The activated carbon canister is blocked. Too much fuel, too much fuel in the fuel tank and insufficient remaining space make more gasoline volatilize into the carbon tank and accumulate for a long time. The carbon tank absorbs too much gasoline and particles, which causes blockage, thus causing air pressure in the fuel tank.

3. The solenoid valve connecting the carbon canister and the engine is damaged, which makes the fuel vapor unable to ventilate normally to form a loop, and the vapor in the fuel tank cannot be released due to blockage, resulting in an increase in air pressure in the fuel tank.

What if the fuel tank pressure is high?

1. At ordinary times, the pressure can be adjusted by controlling the one-way valve of the fuel tank cover, so that the air pressure in the fuel tank is constant.

2. Replace the filter and don't fill it with oil. Pay attention to the oil level sensor when cleaning, block the oil filler with a clean rag, and then constantly change the position and direction of the plastic pipe to avoid rubbing against the oil level sensor.

The air pressure in the automobile fuel tank is too high, so it is difficult for fuel to enter the automobile fuel tank when refueling. Long-term high air pressure in the automobile fuel tank will deform the automobile fuel tank and damage the oil pump.
