The existing thousands of guqin songs are rich in content. There are five main types:

Su Wu Si Jun (which should be a work before Ming Dynasty) is a piano piece with profound and touching music and passionate lyrics. Comrade Li Huanzhi changed it into a chorus, which won international acclaim.

2. Represent the life and thoughts of working people.

Qian Yinai (this is the spectrum of the Ming Dynasty, and it should also be a work before the Ming Dynasty). Show the boatman's labor of pulling fibers. The labor horn with tugboat has appeared many times, and each time it is more exciting. The whole piece of music is melancholy and uneven, and it is an important piano piece with great image and depth. In ancient music, such works that directly and concretely express labor are rare.

The Fisherman's Song shows the fishermen's self-reliance, diligence and optimism in nature. There is obviously a singing tone in the music. Although this song is about fishermen, it expresses the author's dissatisfaction with reality and longing for the life of mountains and rivers.

"Pheasants Fly" is about a 70-year-old shepherd. In the morning, he saw pheasants flying in pairs in the field and lamented that he was old and had no wife. It reflects the life experience of poor working people in feudal society. In ancient times, it was piano music, and in the Qing Dynasty, there was an instrumental essay "Luofei".

3. Express the complex feelings caused by the experiences of different people in society.

Eighteen beats of Hu Jia is a large-scale piano music, which can be found in Piano Score of Wuzhizhai. It shows Cai Wenji's pain: the contradictory psychology of surviving, having another child and going home. The music is profound and meticulous.

Ode to Autumn Games shows the sadness of Wang Zhaojun leaving his hometown and marrying an alien. The music is exquisite and distinctive.

Three Stacks at Yangguan is a piano piece based on Two Ambassadors Anxi written by the Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei. In recent years, it has changed to chorus, which has a wider influence.

"Remembering the Old Friend" is a piano piece that appeared in the late Qing Dynasty, showing the wandering and sighing of friends under the moon in the mountains. The music structure is complete and the logic is tortuous, which is very touching.

4. Express philosophical thoughts and feelings.

Mozi's sad silk. Mozi saw that white silk was dyed in different colors, thus lamenting that human beings have also changed from purity to various kinds in society, resulting in sad thoughts. This piano piece is implicit and profound, and convincingly expresses this inner activity.

The seagull forgets the machine is based on an old fable: an old man often wanders on the sea. Over time, seagulls approached him and became friendly.
