Abnormal sound of solenoid valve for 0W20 oil camshaft of Nissan engine.

The fit clearance between camshaft and its bushing is very large. Try changing the throttle. This abnormal noise is not necessarily an oil problem. Please consult the mechanic for details.

Cause of abnormal sound of engine camshaft: 1. The fit clearance between camshaft and its bushing is large; 2. The camshaft bushing rotates; 3. The camshaft is bent and deformed; 4. The axial clearance of camshaft is too large; 5. The alloy of camshaft bushing is burnt or falls off.

Camshaft abnormal sound is the sound between the camshaft bearing and the shaft when the engine is working, and it is a rhythmic muffled metal knocking sound. When idling or idling is slightly higher, check at each camshaft bearing, and the sound is obvious.

Method for judging abnormal sound of camshaft: 1. Noise is generated on one side of the camshaft, and the throttle valve changes slowly. The noise is clear at idle speed, and obvious at medium speed. At high speed, the noise becomes messy or weakened or even disappears, usually because of abnormal camshaft sound. 2. Remove the valve cover, press the camshaft with a metal rod, and listen to whether the noise changes. If the noise changes, the camshaft will ring.
