The treble damper is the main adjustment mechanism. In the past, most small units, including the current 200MW, used GV. After hanging the brake, the TV is fully turned on, the speed is controlled by GV, and the load is adjusted by GV after grid connection. The large unit is high-pressure and high-pressure combined flushing, that is, after the brake is hung, GV is fully opened, and IV (alto valve) controls the speed separately, and rushes to the warm-up speed (600rpm). After the timing is over, turn on the TV, participate in the speed control, and the speed rises to the high-speed warm-up speed (2800rpm). After the timing is over, switch TV -GV, and GV slowly turns down, and TV is fully opened, GV and IV.

IV in the current large units, IV independently controls the rotational speed at the beginning of operation, controls the rotational speed together with TV or GV after low-speed warm-up, participates in load regulation after grid connection, and fully opens when a certain load is reached.
