Car, what is the function of throttle?

A valve that controls fluid flow by changing the throttle section or throttle length. By connecting the throttle valve and one-way valve in parallel, it can be combined into a one-way throttle valve.

Throttle and one-way throttle are simple flow control valves. In the hydraulic system of the constant displacement pump, the throttle valve and the overflow valve together form three kinds of throttle speed regulation systems, namely, the oil inlet throttle speed regulation system, the oil return throttle speed regulation system and the bypass throttle speed regulation system.

Throttle valve has no negative feedback function, so it can't compensate the speed instability caused by load change. Generally, it is only used in situations where the load changes little or the speed stability is not required.

Installation and maintenance

The installation and maintenance of throttle valve should pay attention to the following matters:

Valves often need to be operated, so they should be installed in a simple and convenient position.

When installing, pay attention to the direction of the medium and the direction of the arrow marked on the valve body.

1. The sources of throttle body deposits are complicated, but they can be divided into the following categories:

1. Mechanical impurities in the oil or dirt such as oxidized colloid, asphalt and carbon residue accumulate in the throttle gap.

2. Charged polarized molecules are generated after oil aging or pressing, and there is a potential difference on the metal surface of the throttling gap, so the polarized molecules are adsorbed on the surface of the gap, forming a firm boundary adsorption layer, and the thickness of the adsorption layer is generally 5~8 microns, thus affecting the size of the throttling gap. When the above deposits and adsorbents grow to a certain thickness, they will be washed away by the liquid flow and then re-attached to the valve port. In this way, the pulsation of flow is formed.

3. When the pressure difference at the valve port is large, due to the high temperature at the valve port, the degree of liquid extrusion is enhanced, and the metal surface is more likely to rub to form a potential difference, so it is easy to cause blockage when the pressure difference is large.
