Why do people in China celebrate their birthdays in the lunar calendar?

Because the lunar calendar was originally a traditional solar term in China, and the solar calendar gradually used an internationally accepted date calculation method after China accepted the spread of western culture, relatively speaking, some rural areas in China still followed the lunar calendar algorithm, because the lunar calendar is an effective date calculation method summarized by Chinese farmers according to the growth law of plants, so through the lunar calendar, we farmers can know when to do what kind of work, and then we can better carry out agricultural development. So in fact, many people in rural areas of our country are still used to using the lunar calendar, and most of our traditional cultural programs for birthdays still use the lunar calendar, because the solar calendar is relatively inaccurate because of some time errors every year, and the lunar calendar is relatively more accurate because of various leap years and leap months.

But in fact, this is still a cultural habit. For example, our country usually likes to use the lunar calendar when celebrating the Spring Festival. In some western countries, although they sometimes celebrate the Spring Festival, they usually calculate it according to the solar calendar. Therefore, because the lunar calendar was handed down by our ancestors, it must be carried forward in the future.
