Located in the middle of Lingyuan Road, Handan City. /kloc-0 laid the foundation stone in March, 946, and was completed in October. The cemetery covers an area of 320 mu and is divided into north and south houses. It is the earliest and largest martyrs cemetery in China, with the largest number of inscriptions by the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries.

The north courtyard of the cemetery is dominated by garden buildings. The magnificent buildings with unique national characteristics are hidden among pines and cypresses. The banner of the gate is inlaid with the "Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Martyrs Cemetery" inscribed by Commander-in-Chief Zhu De, and the calligraphy of President Mao Zedong is inlaid on both sides of the gate: "Dare to teach the sun and the moon to change into a new sky as a sacrifice". At the entrance, the 24-meter-high Martyrs Memorial Tower stands tall, with a radiant red five-star at the top, symbolizing the great victory of the China revolution. On the front of the tower, there is an inscription by Mao Zedong: "The martyrs who died heroically are immortal", which was written by Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi and Zhu De on the east, north and west sides respectively. Just north of the memorial tower is the memorial tomb of the people's heroes, which is a landmark building to commemorate all the revolutionary martyrs who died in the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan border area. There is a list of 3 17 British martyrs above regimental level in the tomb, and there are two groups of sculptures of the Eighth Route Army and militia on the east and west sides in front of the memorial tomb. The characters are lifelike, lifelike and awe-inspiring. In front of the platform is a memorial square for ten thousand people, surrounded by green grass and pines, which is the place where people pay homage to the mausoleum. To the east is General Zuo Quan Cemetery, with a tombstone inscribed by Premier Zhou Enlai. Opposite the tomb is the solemn General Zuo Quan Memorial Hall, which displays the portraits and relics of General Zuo Quan. Northeast of the courtyard is the Martyrs Memorial Hall, which displays some portraits and relics of revolutionary martyrs. To the northwest are the exhibition hall inscribed by Liu Bocheng and the "April 8th" Martyrs Pavilion.

The south courtyard is dominated by mausoleums. There are memorial pavilions and monuments in front, and more than 200 cadres at or above the regiment level and famous war heroes are buried in the tombs behind.

Martyrs Cemetery is majestic, solemn, evergreen, elegant and spectacular, and it is an important place for revolutionary traditional education.
