Introduction of Sanjiang International Tourism Festival

In order to accelerate the pace of reform and opening up in Jiamusi City and the strategic development of Jiamusi International Corridor, the Jiamusi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided to hold the first economic and trade fair and Sanjiang International Tourism Festival on June 8, 1992. People from all walks of life from Russia, South Korea, Japan, Britain, France, Australia, Singapore, Hungary, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan Province, China, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Harbin, Guangdong, Jiangsu and other provinces and cities, as well as representatives from friendly cities such as Russian Jewish Autonomous Prefecture, Japan's Jiuqi, Australia's coast and cities such as Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou that are developing and constructing the Great Northern Wilderness. During the festival, the whole city is very lively, and the streets and alleys show a festive atmosphere. The stage for economic and trade talks, tours, social activities, cultural performances, cultural exchanges, reflecting literature and art, and singing opera in economy and trade has created a festive, joyful and peaceful holiday atmosphere, which has played a positive role in promoting Jiamusi's economic construction and attracting investment.

Starting from 1992, it is booming year by year. Especially after the opening of several international waterways and air transport routes, Jiamusi has formed a new pattern of opening to the outside world, not only for freight and passenger transport, but also for trade and tourism, including water shipping, land rail transport, air transport and river-sea combined transport. Jiamusi Sanjiang International Tourism Festival has a stronger local color, which has increased its attraction to all parts of the country and abroad.
