Why do cats love to sleep?

Cats are very alert animals and will not relax even when they are asleep, so fast-wave sleep usually lasts only 6-7 minutes, slow-wave sleep lasts 20-30 minutes, and so on. This is why we can often see that cats who think they are sleeping soundly will react quickly when they hear some noise or other actions. How many times and how long a cat barks a day are influenced by many factors. Such as hunger, estrus, age, climate and so on. Cats sleep for a short time when they are hungry and cold and in estrus; Young and old cats sleep longer than healthy adult cats; Sleep for a long time in a warm climate. Although cats are covered with fur, they are still afraid of the cold and like to sleep in warm, dry, clean and bright places. In winter, you will find that cats, like sunflowers, move their sleeping places many times with the sunshine, and always try their best to integrate their bodies into the warm sunshine. In summer, they will find a ventilated, cool and sunny place. Therefore, for domestic cats, it is best not to put the cat nest in a fixed place, but to adjust it according to the solar terms and climate as much as possible.
