How to adjust the pressure relief valve?
Open the inlet (gate valve or butterfly valve) at the front end of the pressure reducing valve.
According to the pressure gauge, tighten the top adjusting lever in time as required, and start the water pump to check the highest pressure.
Adjust the angle needle valve to make the pressure as stable as possible, turn off the water pump and check the full-off pressure.
Lock the positioning nut, repeat the above steps to confirm that the setting is effective, and put it into use after adjustment.
The white cap of the pressure reducing valve in the above picture rotates clockwise downward, which will lead to an increase in the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet, and vice versa.
When we collect oil, the throttle opening decreases rapidly until it is in the closed idle state, which means that the engine does not need air intake, otherwise the air flow in the intake pipe will be blocked at the throttle. But at this moment, the turbocharger has not stopped working!
Due to inertia, the turbocharger still keeps rotating at a speed of over 654.38+ million revolutions per minute. Now it is conceivable that the air is still being compressed into the intake pipe. If this part of high-pressure air cannot be discharged in time, the pressure in the intake pipe will rise rapidly, which may cause the throttle valve to be damaged or the intake pipe to burst.
