How to improve the sintering atmosphere of kiln

The control of sintering atmosphere is limited by the structure and equipment configuration of the kiln, such as the air volume of the fan, the diameter of the air duct, the position of the smoke outlet, the heat and humidity outlet, etc. All these will affect the control of sintering atmosphere. But the most important thing is to stabilize the pressure system and operate the burner reasonably.

The change of pressure will affect the flow state of gas, so the fluctuation of pressure system in kiln will cause the fluctuation of atmosphere. To control the atmosphere well, it is necessary to stabilize the pressure system, and the key to stabilize the pressure system is to control the zero pressure surface. In the preheating zone of the kiln, the pressure is relatively lower than that outside the kiln, and the pressure inside the kiln is in a negative pressure state. In the cooling area, cold air should be blown to cool the products, and the pressure is relatively higher than that outside the kiln. In contrast, the air pressure in the kiln is in a positive pressure state. There is a zero pressure surface between the positive pressure and the negative pressure, and the sintering zone is between the preheating zone and the cooling zone, so the movement of the zero pressure surface will cause the change of the atmosphere in the sintering zone. When the zero pressure surface is located in the front section of the sintering zone and between the sintering zone and the preheating zone, the air pressure of the sintering zone is in a slightly positive pressure state and the atmosphere is a reducing atmosphere; When the zero pressure surface is located at the back end of the sintering zone, the sintering zone is in a slightly negative pressure state, and the atmosphere is an oxidizing atmosphere.
