How to raise turtles at home?

Watch the water level. If you have Brazilian turtles and grass turtles, they are both water turtles with similar living habits. For domestic use, the water level is over the back (or 2cm higher than the shell), but land, that is, terraces, should be set up.

Pay attention to providing sunshine. Most turtles need sunlight to promote calcium absorption, supplement calcium and kill bacteria. Therefore, the breeding environment should have a place to go ashore and a place where the sun shines.

Pay attention to water quality. Generally, the environment of domestic water turtles is not very big, so the water body will be dirty in two to three days, and it needs to be changed frequently, otherwise it will easily breed a large number of bacteria, which will make turtles prone to diseases such as rotten nails, fungal infections and white eyes.
