What should I do if the tram power-assisted mode motor does not start?

Causes and treatment of moped's failure to start;

Preliminary inspection:

First, the electric starter is in a medium power state, indicating that the electric starter system is normal and the battery is charged, which may be due to oil shortage or fire.

Second, the foot feels easy to start, but it can't start; It is suspected that the cylinder compression state is not good, and the cylinder pressure needs to be further checked.

Third, it is easy to press the starting lever by hand. Suspected direction: incorrect valve closing, worn piston ring and loose spark plug.

Fourth, blow the breather pipe of the carburetor and add some gasoline to the throat (artificially enriched), so the pedal will not start, which is more troublesome to maintain.

Note: Any four-stroke engine with poor compression state can be suspected of having carbon slag in the valve.

You can try to implement artificial enrichment and start quickly with your feet. Once it is started successfully, the residual carbon can be knocked out after running for a few seconds.

The most common problems in other aspects are: the high-pressure bag is partially wet in rainy days, the carburetor is short of oil, and the spark plug is carbon-deposited.

The preliminary inspection and treatment have no effect, so further detailed inspection is needed:

First, check the fuel condition:

Unplug the negative pressure tube and suck lightly; The negative pressure pipe has no air leakage, the fuel filter has gasoline flowing down, and the oil supply system is normal.

Suck the negative pressure pipe several times, let the negative pressure switch drain oil, and fill up the carburetor that may be short of oil.

Second, check the ignition state:

Unscrew the spark plug and check the electrode gap and spark plug status; The electrode gap is normal, and there is no carbon deposit on the porcelain column.

Wipe the high-pressure cap and high-pressure bag clean, put the spark plug on the cylinder head, and start it with your feet, with the sound of electric spark cracking; It is started by electricity, and there is no crackling sound of electric spark. Preliminary judgment: AC igniter, insufficient ignition energy.

By the way, check whether the wiring of the high-voltage package is clean and tight, and whether the high-voltage line is cracked, damp and close to the frame.

Thirdly, remove the M6 screws of the four M5 nuts in the cylinder head, and shake the valve rocker arm by hand to check the clearance when the valve is not pressed. The exhaust valve rocker arm is loose and there is obvious clearance.

The rocker arm of the intake valve is relatively tight, and the particles do not move when hand-cranked. Preliminary suspicion: it may be carbon deposition in the valve or wear of the club head. Loosen the M4 hexagon nut on the rocker arm by one turn, turn the square head of the small screw counterclockwise 1/4, and then tighten it. In order to be reliable, I usually adjust the valve clearance to about 10 wire; If it exceeds the 12 line, there will be a click when idling.

Fourth, after the above three inspections, the electric start still won't work, nor will the foot start. The emphasis is on compression. Suck out a small amount of lubricating oil (about 2ml at a time) from the crankcase by tubing and blow it into the throat negative pressure nozzle. When the starting lever is pressed by hand, the compressibility of the cylinder is obviously improved; Blow the carburetor snorkel again and start the foot start.

5. Change the throttle slightly when starting, and don't open the throttle too big, which will lead to oil and gas dilution.

Six, the start rang, first hold down the throttle with your hand and let the engine drive for a while; Is to keep the throat under negative pressure and put more oil.

After two minutes, the cylinder is hot, and then adjust the idle throttle screw of the carburetor. The spring of this screw is broken, and the screw is loose. It seems that the engine is shaking loose, thus closing the idle throttle.

Seven, screw out, modify the spring and put it back. Start the engine again and readjust the idle throttle and oil concentration. How to adjust the carburetor? There was a post in the earlier version, so I won't repeat it here. If you want to start easily, you can increase the idle speed. Load the car and drive out. Check the dynamics of starting, accelerating and uphill. If you lose the throttle, you won't stall or shoot. The performance is not bad, but it can't be started by electricity, only by feet; It seems that the piston ring is worn and the ignition is weak.
