The intake pressure of BMW N52 after throttle is abnormal.

When the car is idling, the intake pressure is generally between 27 and 30 kPa. The intake pressure sensor is used to detect the intake air of the engine and control the basic fuel injection quantity. If this sensor is broken, the computer can't receive the intake air, and the mixture will be too thick and too thin, leading to black smoke, incomplete combustion, and even shooting of the exhaust pipe. The intake manifold pressure is more accurate, that is, the absolute pressure of the intake manifold, which is generally between 40 and 40-80 kPa. When the engine is working, the intake manifold pressure will be lower than the atmospheric pressure under the suction formed by the downward movement of the piston in the intake stroke.

The smaller the throttle opening, the greater the suction effect formed by the piston, the greater the suction force of the intake manifold, the greater the vacuum degree and the smaller the intake pipe pressure. The higher the engine speed, the greater the suction effect formed by the piston, the greater the intake manifold suction, the greater the vacuum degree and the smaller the intake manifold pressure. The better the sealing performance, the greater the intake manifold suction, the greater the vacuum degree and the smaller the intake manifold pressure.

The intake manifold is generally made of plastic, which will inevitably be damaged in the process of automobile use. Once the intake manifold is damaged and cracked, air leakage will occur. Air leakage in the intake manifold will make a sound, the car will shake, the idle speed will be unstable, the acceleration will be weak, it will be easy to stall, and even it will not start because of serious cracking. When air leakage occurs in the intake manifold, it should be repaired at the repair shop in time. Generally, the intake manifold will be replaced directly after air leakage.
