The moral of fear

Sting, the third of the 24 solar terms, occurs on March 5, 6 or 7 of the solar calendar every year, which means that spring thunder suddenly vibrates and wakes up hibernating animals lurking underground.

In ancient China, the fright was divided into three stages: the first stage was the early flowering of peach blossoms; Two Hou Cang Geng Ming, Cang Geng refers to the common oriole in spring; Sanhouying turned into a pigeon. Through the above three-phase differentiation, we can see that the fright reflects the solar terms of natural phenology.

After thousands of years of experience, the working people in our country will judge the weather conditions in the later period according to the weather conditions when they are frightened. For example, when they are frightened, the south wind blows, sowing is late, and when they are frightened, the north wind blows, and the whole winter has passed again. These all express the expectation of the working people in our country for a bumper harvest and their infinite yearning for a better life.
