What time is Jiazi?
Jiazi is a dry year. In ancient times, a day and night was divided into twelve hours, that is, one hour was equivalent to two hours, and the corresponding relationship between twelve hours and twenty-four hours was 23 ~ 1 point.
Starting from Jiazi Day, the time branches of this day are Jiazi, Ebu, Bingyin, Ding Mao, Chen Wu and Keith in turn, and the cycle is carried out according to 60 Jiazi.
The calculation formula of Jiazi year corresponding to Gregorian calendar year: Let the year be Y, and get X, 60x+4=y Example: X = 3360 * 33+4 =1980+4 =19841984 is Jiazi year.
Jiazi month is May and October of the dry year, the calendar of the dry year is November, and the period from heavy snow to slight cold is Jiazi month. This is calculated according to the traditional practice of "building shade in the first month"
Example: from heavy snow in February of 20 13 to slight cold in February of 20 14, last year 1 1 month. The method of dividing solar terms into months corresponds to that the mantissa of Gregorian calendar year is 3 and 8, and the month between heavy snow and slight cold is Jiazi month.
