The ancients believed that the weather would be more suitable for crop growth from the beginning of long summer.

Xia Meng: The ancients divided the four seasons of the lunar calendar into "Meng", "Zhong" and "Ji" in turn, with "Meng" as the first month, "Xia Meng" as the first month of summer, that is, April of the lunar calendar, and "Summer Dream Day" as the long summer.
