What is the function of the throttle position sensor?
The function of the throttle position sensor is to detect whether the engine is in idle or load state, or in acceleration or deceleration state. Throttle position sensor, also known as throttle opening sensor or throttle switch, is a device for detecting engine state. The working principle of the throttle position sensor is that the change of the throttle opening is converted into an electrical signal and input to the electronic control unit ECU, and the ECU judges the working condition of the engine according to the throttle position signal. The fault symptoms of the throttle position sensor are: 1, which causes engine jitter and unstable idle speed; 2. When you accelerate rapidly, you will feel that the power is not strong or you cannot speed up.
