Installation and replacement method of valve oil seal

Before, we learned what an automobile valve oil seal is. If the oil seal of the automobile valve is damaged, the automobile will start burning oil. Every cold start, the car will emit blue smoke, and the engine will start to have some faults such as weak acceleration and vibration. At this time, the valve oil seal needs to be replaced. The following is the installation and replacement method of valve oil seal. Removal of valve stem oil seal: 1. Remove the camshaft and hydraulic tappet and store them face down. During operation, it should be noted that tappets are not interchangeable. 2. Remove the spark plug with a spark plug wrench, adjust the piston of the corresponding cylinder to the top dead center, and screw the pressure hose into the threaded hole of the spark plug. 3. Install the spring compression tool on the cylinder head with bolts. Adjust the relevant valves to the correct position, and then connect the pressure hose to the air compressor (air pressure is at least 600kPa). Press down the valve spring with the threaded mandrel and thrust piece, and remove the spring. 4. Tap valve spring retainer lightly to remove the valve lock block. Pull out the valve stem oil seal with a tool. Install the valve stem oil seal: 1. Put plastic on the valve stem to prevent damage to the new valve stem oil seal. 2. Lightly coat the oil seal lip with engine oil. 3. Seal the oil on the tool, and then slowly push it onto the valve guide. 4. Before installing the intake valve and exhaust valve, coat a layer of engine oil on the valve stem. The replacement process of valve oil seal is strict, and it is very complicated to remove the valve chamber and cylinder head. When installing the timing belt, the camshaft must be located on the 0- notch line and the crankshaft should be aligned with the top dead center.
