Wu Outing (19 13-2005), a painter and poet, was born in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. Influenced by Jin and other predecessors since childhood, he loves Kunqu opera and calligraphy and painting.

Before Wu Outing's weak crown, he worshipped the famous painter Guo Sixun as his teacher. The elders only teach literature, not copying in the studio. This peculiar teaching method helps Yu Xiansheng to freely develop and shape his personality.
