How to judge whether the throttle should be cleaned?

First, the throttle is too dirty. The most obvious feature is that the acceleration is very fleshy and the idle speed is unstable (sometimes big and sometimes small). These faulty car owners can basically feel it directly!

Second, as long as the engine is not loaded, all EFI vehicles are in neutral, boom the throttle for 3000 rpm, and then suddenly close the oil. At this time, pay attention to the pointer of the tachometer:

1. When the pointer quickly drops to about 800 rpm and stabilizes, the throttle valve is slightly dirty, and it is basically normal without cleaning.

2. When the pointer quickly drops to below 800 rpm or even 700 rpm, and then slowly rises to around 800 rpm, and the idle speed follows from small to large, congratulations, the throttle has been seriously fouled and needs to be cleaned immediately.

Judgment principle: When the engine of EFI vehicle is empty, the ECU will automatically stop fuel injection by releasing the throttle when the fuel door is full. When the rotational speed drops to 1000~ 1200 rpm, the injection point will be restored (according to the parameters set by ECU), and then it will be gradually reduced to idle injection. Form a buffer to prevent flameout (this is the idle flameout prevention program set by ECU).

It is worth noting that:

1, the more frequently the accelerator is washed, the more problems the car has. If the car is not repaired well, it will only get worse and worse.

2. Even when cleaning the throttle, the choice of cleaning agent (liquid) is particularly important. Do not use strong corrosive cleaning agents. But it must be understood that even the best detergent can only minimize the damage, and the damage is inevitable.

3. Develop correct driving habits and diligent maintenance, and do not add inferior gasoline.
