What's the climate like in Guangzhou?
Guangzhou is located in the south of China, at the lower reaches of the Pearl River, bordering the South China Sea, Huizhou in the east, Foshan in the west, Qingyuan and Shaoguan in the north, Dongguan and Zhongshan in the south, and facing Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions across the sea. Guangzhou belongs to the south subtropical monsoon climate, with mild climate and remarkable maritime climate characteristics.
Guangzhou is one of the first national historical and cultural cities and the birthplace of Guangfu culture. Guangzhou is the headquarters of China Southern Theater, a national logistics hub, a national comprehensive gateway city and an international comprehensive transportation hub. It is the first batch of coastal open cities, the south gate of China to the world, the central city of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, and the hub city of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Guangzhou is located in the south of Chinese mainland, south-central Guangdong Province, on the northern edge of the Pearl River Delta, close to the lower reaches of the Pearl River Basin. Its range is 1 12 degrees 57 minutes east to 1 14 degrees 3 minutes north to 22 degrees 26 minutes north to 23 degrees 56 minutes, covering an area of 7,434.4 square kilometers.
It is adjacent to Boluo and Longmen counties in Huizhou in the east, Sanshui, Nanhai and Shunde districts in Foshan in the west, Qingyuan, Fogang and Xinfeng counties in Shaoguan in the north, Dongguan and Zhongshan in the south, and faces Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions across the sea.
