Why does the warm air shake when the car turns on the air conditioner?

Many people will encounter this problem, and the vehicle will shake violently every time the warm air is turned on. There are three reasons for this, and we can check it ourselves.

1. Turn on the heater and turn on the air conditioner switch. Some drivers don't know much about how to use warm air. They think that heating in summer is the same as turning on air conditioning. They should turn on the air conditioner switch. Some car owners accidentally pressed the air conditioning switch once, and then only switched the warm air to switch the air volume. So every time you turn on the heating and air conditioning, it will turn on. The air conditioner switch controls the air conditioner compressor. When turned on, the compressor is turned on. The compressor power is high, the engine load becomes large, and the combustion is incomplete at idle speed. So turn on the warm air at idle speed, and the vehicle will shake. When the compressor works, the oil consumption naturally increases.

On the other hand, when the front windshield is defogged, the air conditioning switch will automatically turn on and automatically switch to the external circulation mode, which is a program set by the car. Because there is often fog in winter, some car owners don't care about the direction of blowing glass after adjusting the wind direction. Every time they turn on the heating, they blow the glass without fog, and the car is warm. But this will cause the compressor to work all the time, make the vehicle idle and shake, and increase fuel consumption. Therefore, only when the window is foggy, you need to turn on the defogging button or manually adjust it to the direction of glass blowing. After the fog dissipates, adjust the wind direction to other directions in time, and don't keep blowing glass.

2. After the warm air is turned on, the fan starts to run with more power, the output current of the generator increases, and the load increases. At this time, the engine speed is slow, which will lead to incomplete combustion and jitter. This is similar to the cause of jitter caused by compressor startup, but the jitter is slightly lower than that of compressor. This happens not only when the warm air is turned on, but also when the headlights, lifting windows and seat heating devices are turned on. This vibration occurs when a more powerful device is turned on. This situation is very common when small displacement vehicles are idling. Large displacement or high engine speed has little effect.

3, throttle carbon deposition, spark plug ignition energy is insufficient. If the carbon deposit on the accelerator is serious, or the spark plug needs to be replaced, even if it is not turned on.

Warm air and idle speed will also shake. If there is only a slight carbon deposit and the idle speed does not shake, the blower will vibrate. After the warm air is turned on, the fuel consumption will increase with the slight increase of the load. But there is carbon deposit on the throttle and spark plug. There are other aspects of performance when driving normally. It is also easy to be detected by the computer.
