Types of stakes

Wooden stakes are common equipment of all sects in China, not unique to Wing Chun. Bajiquan, Mojiaquan, Caijiaquan and Cailifo all have their own stakes.

Yongchun dummy pile is fixed, Cai Jiaquan dummy pile is movable, and Cai Lifo dummy pile is a near-fist reaction rake.

Wooden stakes are mainly used to cultivate the distance between attack and defense, and the equipment for the transition from routine to Sanshou. Different fists use different stakes.
