China is an ancient agricultural society. In the Yellow River basin, the solar terms that have a prominent impact on planting are: Qingming-around Qingming, melons and beans began to be planted, which opened the curtain of spring sowing; Millennium:-sounded the horn of autumn sowing.

However, China still relies on natural conditions in a considerable part of the country, so there is a flexible proverb, "Time turns, and moisture waits for no one."
