What is the custom of winter solstice in Yichang, Hubei Province?
Yichang, formerly known as Yiling, is an important transportation hub in Central China, an excellent tourist city in China, a national civilized city and a sub-central city in Hubei Province. It is also the location of important national strategic facilities such as the Three Gorges Dam and Gezhouba Dam, and is known as the "hydropower capital of the world".
Yichang is located in the southwest of Hubei Province, at the junction of the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River, with a history of more than 2,000 years.
