Playing with lanterns is an important item in the Lantern Festival. Lantern riddle is a word game originated from Lantern Festival, also called Lantern Tiger. At the beginning of the Song and Yuan Dynasties, glutinous rice balls had become the festival food of the Lantern Festival, so people also called them "Yuanxiao".
