How to adjust the throttle knob of motorcycle
The adjustment steps of motorcycle throttle line are as follows:
1. Start the engine first, adjust the clearance and tightness of the throttle handle, and then speed up the test run.
2. If you feel that the throttle handle is heavy (as if something is pulling), it means that the throttle cable has interference, and it will make a rustling sound when pulling, which is mostly caused by the cable winding on the handle. At this point, try to loosen the fixing screw of the cable with a screwdriver to see if it can eliminate the noise.
3. If the cable is damaged, there will be a "click" sound during operation. At this time, it is best to change a new cable.
4. Fully restore the throttle handle to normal state, hold the adjusting nut, and pull the digging line outward for 2~3 mm, and then try whether the clearance is appropriate. If the gap is too big, it should be readjusted.
5. Key points of cable clearance adjustment: rotate the adjusting nut clockwise to tighten the cable. When it is felt that the odor gap returns to the state before the fault occurs, it is considered that the pulling force is appropriate.
6. Fully restore the throttle handle to the normal state, loosen the lock nut (rotate counterclockwise), then the forward and reverse nut drives the pull wire to move up and down, keeping the gap of 1-2 mm, and fix it with the lock nut (rotate clockwise). Then the adjustment can be completed.

2. When the throttle turns sharply, the carburetor can inject a stream of oil into the throat to improve the acceleration when accelerating rapidly. This kind of acceleration pump only works when the throttle turns sharply, but it doesn't work when the throttle turns normally or slowly. When parking a car equipped with this carburetor, be careful not to twist the throttle, otherwise it will inject gasoline into the cylinder, causing flooding and wasting gasoline.
3. The traditional cable accelerator is connected with the accelerator pedal at one end and the accelerator at the other end through a steel wire, and its transmission ratio is 1: 1, which means that the throttle opening is the same as how much we step on with our feet, but in many cases, the throttle should not be opened at such a large angle, so the throttle opening at this time is not necessarily the most scientific. Although this method is direct, its control accuracy is poor.
4. The electronic throttle controls the opening of the throttle through cable or wire harness. On the surface, the traditional throttle cable is replaced by cable, but in essence it is not only a simple change of connection mode, but an automatic control function for the power output of the whole vehicle.
