Six Qi of Circular Movement in Ancient Chinese Medicine

Five elements, spring in summer, autumn in harvest, winter in Tibet.

Six qi, wind, heat, summer, wet, dry and cold.

Five elements and five elements, in which internal heat is divided into monarch fire and phase fire, corresponding to six qi. Among them, the fire needs to be raised and the fire needs to be lowered.

It is called five elements and six qi, but it is actually six lines and six qi.

The movement of the five elements is not round, and prejudice becomes six qi.

Qi Mu's prejudice and illness,

Monarch, fire, prejudice, disease and heat,

Fire, prejudice, disease and heat,

Jin qi is partial, and the disease is dry,

Rural prejudice is morbid and humid,

Water vapor bias leads to cold.

Six gas names: Jueyin, Shaohuo, Shaoyang incense, Taiyin wet soil, Yangming dry gold and sun cold water.

The circulation movement of six qi, golden wood fire and water is in four dimensions respectively, while the phase fire and rustic gas are in the middle palace.

In other words, the spleen and stomach are transported mainly in fire and middle earth.

Six lines and six qi correspond to twenty-four solar terms, and four sections are one.

Great cold, beginning of spring and rain are the initial qi.

Vernal equinox, Qingming Festival, Grain Rain and Long Summer belong to two qi.

Xiaoman, Mangzhong, Summer Solstice and Xiaoshu belong to three qi.

Summer heat, beginning of autumn, Chushu and Bailu belong to four qi.

The autumnal equinox, cold dew, first frost and beginning of winter belong to five qi.

Light snow, heavy snow, winter solstice and slight cold belong to six qi.

How to remember? Observe that the second qi starts from the vernal equinox and the fifth qi starts from the autumnal equinox.

So remember the second qi and the fifth qi, and you can deduce the other six qi.

The current solar term is the first frost, which belongs to the five qi and Yangming dry gold.
