It not only has beautiful seascapes and charming night scenes, but also lighthouses, sculptures, seawalls and even surrounding high-rise buildings are excellent backgrounds for taking pictures. The whole square is oval, with green grass on both sides of the central avenue running through the north and south of the square, and the columns of the beacon tower are lined up and lead directly to the sea. The red marble in the center of the square is engraved with heavenly stems and earthly branches, 24 solar terms and 12 zodiac signs. There is also a giant city sculpture at the southern end of the square, with a long relief of thousands of footprints on the ground. In addition, you can also see figure sculptures in various postures, such as athletes in competitions, children's roller skating, and large musical fountains around the square. On major festivals, we can also see heroic female mounted police patrolling on horseback, while the square in summer has become the venue of the grand international beer festival and a carnival resort.

It has the clearest sea water and the cleanest beach in Dalian, and the coastal scenery is quite charming. This is a famous leisure resort. Entering the scenic spot is a boulevard leading to the seaside, with neatly built lawns and various garden plants on both sides, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the seaside. At the entrance to the beach, you can see the big stone "Bangqu Island" inscribed by Chairman Mao. An island stands in the sea more than 400 meters across from the beach, and looks like a farmer's clotheshorse from a distance, hence the name "Bangqu Island". Because the beach faces east, Bangqu Island is very beautiful against the rosy clouds in the early morning, and it is a photographer's favorite. From the beach pier, you can take a speedboat to visit Bangba Island at close range, but it is expensive. This beach is not very big, but the water is very clear. It is very pleasant to walk here, bask in the sun, or pick up shells and pebbles on the beach. But unlike the beaches in the south, the sand on the beaches here is rough and there are many stones and shell fragments. Walking barefoot will be a little lame. When swimming in summer, you should also pay attention to the trenches in the water and don't swim too far.
5. Venice Watertown in the East
Venice Watertown in the East is based on Venice. Shuicheng Canal is 4 kilometers long and runs through more than 200 European castles. Here, you can experience exotic customs and write your own story of Shuicheng, and the romance of Dalian is perfectly presented here. As night falls and the lights are on, the blurred architectural lights of Venice Watertown in Dalian seem to have arrived in Pujiang, Shanghai, just to see the unique wall of Bruges. There are many European castle buildings scattered on both sides of the canal, each with its own charm, which is reflected on the river surface of Shuicheng. Breeze, swaying trees, winding water lanes, flowing clear waves, indulging in the dream of rippling blue waves, the poetry of Bincheng and the romance of Dalian are all the deepest renderings here. The charm of the blue sky and starry sky at night sweeps away your summer heat against the sparkling water, as if entering a beautiful dream.
