Will it get cold after the dog days?
Especially in some areas in the south, autumn tigers followed after watching the dog days in the past. Autumn Tiger is a common name, which refers to the short-term hot weather after the solar term in beginning of autumn or summer. It usually happens at the turn of August and September and lasts for about 7- 15 days. At this time, for most parts of the south, it is still very hot at noon and afternoon, but sooner or later it will be slightly cooler than the previous dog days.
The truly large-scale autumn will wait until the Millennium and the autumnal equinox. In Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Henan and other places, the arrival of autumn will wait until September. For example, Tianjin and Shijiazhuang always welcome autumn in September 14.
In the south, most people can't enter autumn until the end of September. Among provincial-level cities, Wuhan, Hefei, Nanjing, Changsha, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Nanchang enter autumn all the year round in the vernal equinox solar terms, while Nanning, Guangzhou, Fuzhou and Haikou enter autumn at a slower pace all the year round, and the temperature will gradually drop to 10 or even10.
