Introduction of silkworm
Silkworm: The scientific name of silkworm belongs to invertebrates and arthropods. It is the larva of silkworm moth, the main source of silk raw materials and occupies an important position in human economic life and cultural history. Silkworms have a big appetite. They eat mulberry leaves day and night, so they grow quickly. When their heads turn black, it means they are going to shed their skin. After molting for four times, their bodies will turn pale yellow and their skin will become tighter, which indicates that they will wrap themselves in cocoons and turn into pupae in cocoons. Originated in northern China, the staple food is mulberry leaves. In southern China and Taiwan Province Province, this kind of silkworm is commonly known as silkworm baby.
