What is eco mode?

ECO is an energy-saving optimization model. The full name of ECO mode is efficient consumption optimization, which is a driving assistance system to improve automobile fuel economy. The system can save fuel by limiting engine power, torque output and power consumption of air conditioning system. When the vehicle is in ECO mode, the engine will automatically adjust to the best working state, reducing unnecessary energy consumption, thus improving the overall fuel efficiency. The working principle of ECO mode is to adjust the air intake by controlling the opening and closing degree of the throttle, and then affect the power output of the engine. In ECO mode, the opening and closing degree of throttle will be limited to a small range.
