Bicycle tire pressure comparison table
Usually, the tire pressure of mountain bikes is between 30 and 90 psi, and that of road bikes is between 80- 130 psi. Generally speaking, the recommended tire pressure is 10% of the rider's weight. This rule generally applies to light or heavy riders and should not exceed the upper and lower limits. But if the weight is above 80 kg, there is almost no need to inflate the tire.
When the tire pressure exceeds 30% of the specified value, the probability of puncture will greatly increase. Generally, the specified value will be affixed with the original factory standard air pressure value on the door or fuel tank cover. If the tire pressure is too high or too low, there is a danger of puncture. According to the regulations and requirements of international standards, the standard tire is 240-250kpa, the reinforced tire is 280-390kpa, and the maximum atmospheric pressure cannot be greater than 350kpa.
