Replacement of intake manifold removal operation tutorial

Intake pipe assembly drawing: 1- intake manifold pressure sensor and air temperature sensor; 2, 7, 8, 10,15 ~17-bolts; 3 o-rings; 4— Upper part of intake manifold; 5. 12,14-sealing ring; 6— Throttle control unit; 9- Rubber bearing; 1 1- support frame; 13- lower part of intake manifold; 18,20-vacuum hose; 19-intake manifold switch solenoid valve replaces the lower part of intake pipe. Service tip: Turn off the ignition switch and all electrical appliances, and pull out the ignition key. Step 1: Press the locking pin of the cable guide out of the fuel distributor and unscrew the bolt of the fuel distributor (arrow). Step 2: Loosen the connecting bolt1; Loosen all ordinary bolts (arrows) connecting the lower part of the intake manifold and the cylinder head; Carefully pry open the two lugs (arrow A) on the upper part of the intake manifold and pull out the lower part of the intake manifold forward. Step 3: Disconnect the fuel injection valve plug (arrow). Step 4: Pull the fuel distributor together with the fuel injection valve out of the lower part of the intake manifold evenly (as shown by the arrow) and put it on a clean rag in the engine compartment. Install in the reverse order, and pay attention to the following points during installation: replace the sealing ring between the intake manifold and the cylinder head. Replace the sealing ring between the fuel injection valve and the intake pipe and slightly soak it in clean engine oil. Insert the fuel distributor and fuel injection valve into the intake pipe and press evenly. Pay attention to the correct installation of the sealing ring between the lower part and the upper part of the intake manifold. Remove the upper and lower parts of the intake manifold together. Step 1: Remove the throttle control unit; Remove the engine hood; Unplug the vacuum hose (arrow) from the intake pipe to the brake booster; Remove the secondary air pump and related parts. Step 2: Unscrew the bolt of the fuel distributor and press the locking pin of the cable guide out of the fuel distributor (as shown by the arrow). Step 3: Disconnect the electric plug (as shown by the arrow), remove the cable on the air inlet pipe and put it aside; Disconnect the activated carbon canister solenoid valve N80, line 2 and coolant hose 1 from the intake manifold. Step 4: Unplug the plug 1 and remove the throttle control unit J338 (as shown by the arrow). Step 5: Unscrew the bolts (arrows) on the left and right sides of the rear intake manifold suspension device. Step 6: Unscrew all remaining connecting bolts (arrows) connecting the lower part of the intake manifold and the cylinder head. Step 7: Remove the lead from the fuel distributor, and remove the fuel distributor and fuel injection valve from the lower part of the intake manifold; Remove the intake manifold from the cylinder head and put the fuel distributor and fuel injection valve on a clean rag. Install the intake manifold in the reverse order of disassembly.
