How to assemble and disassemble the intake manifold of Ford Mondeo 07?

Remove the throttle control unit;

Remove the engine hood;

Unplug the vacuum hose (arrow) from the intake pipe to the brake booster;

Remove the secondary air pump and related components.

Step two:

Unscrew the bolt of the fuel distributor and press the locking pin of the cable guide out of the fuel distributor (arrow).

Step 3:

Disconnect the electrical plug (arrow), remove the cable on the intake pipe and put it aside; Disconnect the canister solenoid valve N80, line 2 and coolant hose 1 from the intake manifold.

Step 4:

Pull off plug 1 and remove throttle control unit J338 (arrow).

Step five:

Unscrew the left and right bolts (arrows) of the rear intake manifold suspension device.

Step 6:

Unscrew all remaining connecting bolts (arrows) connecting the lower part of the intake manifold and the cylinder head.

Step 7:

Remove the lead from the fuel distributor, and remove the fuel distributor and fuel injection valve from the lower part of the intake manifold;

Remove the intake manifold from the cylinder head and put the fuel distributor and fuel injection valve on a clean rag.
