There are several types of throttle position sensors.

Hall type, double variable resistance type and sliding resistance type. There are three types of throttle position sensors: Hall type, double variable resistance type and sliding resistance type. Among them, Hall type is composed of Hall element and magnet, which can rotate around Hall element and convert magnetic flux change into electrical signal and output it to ECM. The throttle position sensor can be used to detect whether the engine is idling or under load.
