What are the external characteristics of the engine?

The external characteristic of the engine is to keep the throttle opening (or fuel supply adjusting lever) at a certain position under the optimal conditions of normal temperature, normal oil pressure, ignition advance angle (or fuel injection advance angle) and fuel supply system adjustment. The working characteristic of the engine is that combustion produces high-pressure gas, and the high pressure of the gas drives the blades of the gas turbine to rotate, thus outputting power.

Gas turbines are widely used, but because it is difficult to finely adjust the output power, gas turbines are rarely used in cars and motorcycles, and only some racing cars are equipped with gas turbines.

Power stroke of engine:

When the compression stroke draws to a close, diesel oil is injected into the cylinder combustion chamber at a high pressure of about 10MPa under the action of a high-pressure oil pump, and it is ignited immediately after being mixed with air in a short time.

The gas pressure in the gas cylinder rises rapidly, the highest can reach 5000～9000 kpa, and the highest temperature is 65438±0800～2000K K. Because the diesel engine ignites itself by compression, it is called compression ignition engine.
