What's the climate like in Cuba?
Most of Cuba has a tropical rain forest climate, and only the leeward slope of the southwest coast has a tropical grassland climate.
Cuba covers an area of 1 10860 square kilometers. It is located in the northwest of the Caribbean Sea, bordering Haiti in the east, 0/40km from Jamaica/KLOC-0 in the south and 217km from the top of Florida Peninsula in the United States in the north. It is composed of more than 600 islands/kloc-0, such as Cuba Island and Youth Island (formerly Pine Island). It is the largest island country in the West Indies. The coastline is about 6000 kilometers long. Most areas are flat, with mountains in the east and middle and hills in the west. These characteristics constitute the cause of climate.
