Topographic and climatic characteristics of Hubei Province
Hubei Province is located in the inland area of central China, south of Huaihe River in Qinling Mountains. The terrain is mainly plain (Jianghan Plain is a part of the plain in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River) and low mountains and hills, and the terrain is high in the west and low in the east. The climate of Hubei province belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, with high temperature and rainy summer and warm and dry winter. This river is very large, so it won't freeze in winter.
