China is known as the first famous mountain in the sea, Laoshan Mountain.

Laoshan is located in Laoshan District in the east of Qingdao, Shandong Province. It stands on the coast of the Yellow Sea, with majestic momentum and mountains and seas, and is known as "the first famous mountain on the sea". The "Giant Peak" of Laoshan Mountain, commonly known as "Laoding", is the highest peak on the land and sea coast of China with an altitude of 1 132.7 meters.

I. Overview of Mountain System

1. Laoshan Mountain is a part of the low hills in Jiaodong, located in the south of the paleosol near shield of China and Korea, and its tectonic system belongs to the structural part of the second uplift generation of New China.

2. Since the Sinian Lvliang Movement, it has become a composite fold. In the late Yanshanian movement about 0.8 ~10.29 billion years ago, lava eruption and large-scale intrusion of granite occurred one after another, slowly cooled and rose, and gradually formed the existing geological outline.

3. The eastern part of Laoshan Mountain is formed by granite intrusion, the western part is formed by volcanic rocks, and the downstream of Mohe River, Baisha River, Zhang Cun River and Taoyuan River in the middle part is formed by hilly transitional zone and small alluvial plain.

Second, the geological structure

1. Since the Sinian Lvliang Movement, Laoshan Mountain has become a complex fold, and this huge granite body was formed in Cretaceous. According to the late Yanshanian movement from about 68 million to 6.5438+0.3 million years, the hot molten magma rising in the deep crust condensed several kilometers underground.

2. The rocks are fleshy red and white, and the minerals crystallize into particles. Geologically, it was named "Laoshan Granite", but it was not exposed to the ground when it was born.

3. Since Cenozoic, the crust has risen, and the rocks covered on it have been gradually eroded by years of wind, frost, rain, snow and lasting running water, only then can granite be exposed.

4. The middle Cenozoic began to present its present outline, which has been 2 million years since. The face of Laoshan Mountain was in the late Quaternary, that is, in the vicissitudes of recent tens of thousands of years.

Third, climate.

1, Laoshan belongs to the continental monsoon climate of warm temperate zone, with obvious seasonal changes and monsoon advance and retreat. It has the characteristics of abundant rainfall, moderate annual temperature, no severe cold in winter, no intense heat in summer and mild climate.

2. Close to the Yellow Sea, it is regulated by the ocean, showing the maritime climate characteristics such as cool in spring and warm in autumn and warm in winter in Leng Xia, small temperature difference between day and night, long frost-free period and high humidity.
