Why does the highest temperature in Bijie appear in May?
Bijie City is controlled by low heating pressure from March to May every year, and the maximum temperature rises rapidly. Extreme high temperature in Bijie City often occurs in this period. Affected by global warming, the temperature is higher after the warm winter, and the hot weather in Bijie comes earlier than the same period.
Since May, the temperature in our city has remained high due to strong heat, low pressure and strong southerly winds. Among them, the 6th and 7th days are the strongest stages of heat and low pressure control in our city. On the seventh day, the thermal low pressure reached 998 hectopascals, and the highest temperature on the seventh day was also the peak of this period.
If the global temperature continues to rise in the future, this hot weather may become the norm.
