How is the idle speed unstable after throttle cleaning?

Because the throttle opening has not been reset. Due to the long-term carbon deposition on the throttle, the carbon deposition squeezes the throttle, and the throttle opening also expands. When we clean the throttle, if we don't reset it, the throttle opening will remain in the state before carbon deposition, which will lead to an increase in air intake, and in severe cases, the idling will be unstable.

How do you reset the throttle opening? At present, most cars use electronic throttle, and it is necessary to initialize the throttle with a diagnostic instrument and a computer to achieve normal idle speed. There are also some old models that use mechanical cable throttle, so these cars will gradually restore the throttle opening to the initial state in the future driving, and the idle speed will naturally stabilize.

For example, before cleaning the accelerator, unplug the negative electrode of the battery or after cleaning, turn the key to the on position and wait for a few minutes to turn it off, then turn it to the ON position, step on the accelerator completely without stopping, and then start the car. This method is useful for some car owners, but not for some car owners. In fact, different models have different reset methods, and the fastest way is of course to use computer matching.
