What thoughts and feelings does the poem beginning of winter express?
Beginning of winter is a seven-character quatrain poem written by Heshui Zuo, which describes the 19 solar term among the 24 solar terms of the lunar calendar. This poem adopts a realistic approach, with only four sentences and 28 words. It describes the cool weather brought by the northwest wind in China's solar terms repeatedly going south in beginning of winter, which made all the trees wither and fall leaves. Rural areas in the south of the Yangtze River are trying to harvest crops and build water conservancy projects.
