Symptoms of damage of automobile throttle position sensor

The main symptoms of automobile throttle damage are engine jitter and unstable lifting speed. This topic describes the symptoms of throttle damage. Because the throttle is a wearing part, it needs to be replaced frequently. As long as the above situation occurs, after other possible faults are eliminated, the throttle sensor is faulty and should be replaced in time.

Replace the throttle:

Do it yourself First, unplug the circuit plug on the throttle position sensor, screw on the two screws of the sensor with a short-handled Phillips screwdriver, take the old sensor, install a new sensor and tighten the two fixing screws, and finally plug in the circuit plug. Carry out a road test after starting the vehicle. The original symptoms disappeared completely. Turn the shaft of the old sensor by hand and stick it to your ear to listen carefully. At the initial stage of uniform rotation, there was a small and scattered friction sound inside, indicating that the surface of the annular resistive film was worn due to friction, which led to poor contact at a certain position of the resistive film. What was transmitted to the computer was that a certain opening resistance value of the throttle valve was zero, and the computer correspondingly greatly reduced the fuel injection pulse width instruction. Therefore, when the throttle is depressed at this initial position, the engine power output is interrupted because the fuel injection quantity is too low, and the vehicle stumbles.
