How do the 24 solar terms reflect seasonal changes?
Twenty-four solar terms refer to the 24 specific solar terms in the China lunar calendar, which are formulated according to the position change of the earth on the ecliptic (that is, the orbit of the earth around the sun [1]), and each solar term corresponds to a certain position reached by the sun every time it moves 15 on the ecliptic.
Division of the twenty-four solar terms:
In ancient times, the period from winter solstice to summer solstice and then to winter solstice (about 365.25 days), that is, the year of the Tropic of Cancer, was usually divided into 24 segments (each segment was about 15: 05), and each segment started with a solar term, namely, winter solstice, slight cold, severe cold, beginning of spring, rain, fright and vernal equinox.
Long summer is spring, beginning of autumn is summer, beginning of autumn is autumn, beginning of winter is winter and beginning of winter is winter.
