What climate does Gansu belong to?

It mainly includes subtropical monsoon climate, temperate monsoon climate, temperate continental arid climate and plateau mountain climate.

1. From southeast to northwest, the climate gradually changes from wet to dry. Gansu province is located in the junction of eastern monsoon region, northwest arid and semi-arid region and Qinghai-Tibet alpine region, and its southern region belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, with annual precipitation above 800 mm.

2. The central and northern regions are dominated by temperate continental arid climate, with annual precipitation below 400 mm and even below 200 mm in some areas.
